Rezoning for a liquor shop
On September 27 2021 the Johannesburg City Council will be voting on a matter of grave concern to the residents of Soweto, Meadowlands.
City Council is poised to overturn a decision by the Planning Commission who unanimously denied a request by Thomas A. JT Town Planners, representing the Nduvho Development Group, to have liquor shop located at the corner of Forbes RD and Nchare ST rezoned from Residential to Business.
This project is poorly planned and will be a detriment to the adjoining neighborhoods. Support is needed to make certain that City Council hears our voice and denies this project.
